Welcome to Superdocu (“Site”), owned and operated by Superdocu (“Entreprise”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you” or “User”) and Superdocu regarding your access to and use of the Site.

Certain features of the Site may be subject to additional guidelines, terms, or rules, which will be posted on the Site in connection with such features. All such additional terms, guidelines, and rules are hereby incorporated by reference into these Terms.

1. Scope & Acceptance of Terms

These Terms govern your access to and use of the Site and any associated features or services. Certain features or services may be subject to additional terms and conditions, which will be presented at the time of use. If you are using Superdocu on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site.


2. Jurisdiction & Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.


3. Data Protection & Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.

4. Access to the Site

Superdocu grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use the Site for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include any right to:

  • Resell or commercially exploit the Site or its content;
  • Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of any part of the Site;
  • Use the Site to build a competitive product or service.

5. Intellectual Property

By submitting User Content, you grant Superdocu a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, distribute, publicly display, and perform such content in connection with operating and improving the Site.

You waive any rights of attribution or moral rights.


6. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site in a way that violates any law or infringes on anyone’s rights. Specifically, you may not:

  • Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, or harmful;
  • Distribute malware, unsolicited emails (spam), or attempt to breach Site security;
  • Use automated tools to scrape or overload the Site;
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.

We reserve the right to remove content, terminate accounts or suspend access in case of violations, without any compensation.


7. Data Backup & Deletion

For security and GDPR compliance, all User Content is handled in accordance with our Politique de confidentialité.

We regularly back up operational data, but you remain responsible for maintaining backups of any data you upload via the Site.

We will not delete your data arbitrarily. Personal data will only be deleted, modified, or shared in accordance with GDPR and your instructions or consent.


8. Support

Our AppSumo customers can also benefit from support under the terms agreed at the time of their purchase.


9. Liability & Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, Superdocu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.

You agree to indemnify Superdocu from any third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the Site or your violation of these Terms. We will not seek to recover legal fees from you unless you are found legally responsible for causing damages through unlawful or malicious conduct.


10. Termination

You may stop using the Site at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the Site and any associated content may be removed.

Sections relating to intellectual property, indemnification, governing law, and dispute resolution will survive termination.


11. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date and provide notice where required. Continued use of the Site after such updates indicates your acceptance of the changes.
